#MYWritersFest started in 2015 as a month-long festival in October that celebrates local writers and their works. Key to our first four fests were the meet and greet sessions, where writers met readers and showcased their works, and the professional development series. The 2019 fest also incorporated writing retreats as part of the programming. The 2021 edition of #MYWritersFest was a virtual weekend conference from 22 – 24 October 2021.

Panels will be livestreamed on Facebook. If you are a Malaysian Writers Society member, you’ll be given special access to join the Zoom webinar session, where you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the panelists and ask questions.
Workshops and critique sessions will be free for members, but non-members will have to pay RM25 per session. Register now!
